FareFuzz · California Seller of Travel Registration No. 2163926

Entity: FareFuzz · Page: https://farefuzz.com/terms-and-conditions

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ. Section 21 contains a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver that affect your legal rights. You may opt out within 30 days as described in Section 21.4. Section 9.2 explains that many negotiated premium fares are non-refundable once ticketed. Section 9.1 explains the short window in which a ticket can be voided at no cost.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and FareFuzz ("FareFuzz," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of farefuzz.com, our booking and advisory services, and any communication with our travel advisors by phone, email, live chat, SMS, or WhatsApp (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, requesting a quote, or confirming a booking, you accept these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of every traveler in your party. If you are booking for others, you confirm you are authorized to bind them to these Terms and that you have communicated the relevant provisions to them.

Section 21 contains a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver that affect your legal rights. Please read it carefully.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. California Seller of Travel Disclosure

FareFuzz is registered with the State of California as a Seller of Travel.

California Seller of Travel Registration No.: 2163926

Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

If a TCRC participant: This transaction is covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the Fund at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRC at PO Box 6001, Larkspur, CA 94977-6001.

If not a TCRC participant: This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund. You are not eligible to file a claim against that Fund in the event of the seller's default.

Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where you are not at fault and have not cancelled in violation of any terms previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed to you, all sums paid to FareFuzz for services not provided will be promptly refunded to you, unless you advise us in writing to apply the funds otherwise, within the timeframes required by California Business and Professions Code § 17550.13.

3. What FareFuzz Is — and Is Not

FareFuzz is an independent air travel consolidator and retail travel agency specializing in Business Class and First Class airfare. We hold net-fare agreements with airline partners and issue tickets through accredited ticketing channels.

We are not an airline, air carrier, charter operator, or tour operator. We do not own, operate, control, or crew any aircraft. We do not provide transportation, lounge access, ground handling, or any other travel service ourselves.

We act as an intermediary and agent arranging travel services supplied by third parties ("Suppliers"), including airlines, private aviation operators, and their affiliates. Your transportation is governed by the Supplier's own contract of carriage, tariff, fare rules, and conditions, which:

  • form a separate contract between you and that Supplier;
  • are available from the Supplier on request and are typically published on the Supplier's website; and
  • take precedence over any general description of the service on farefuzz.com.

FareFuzz is not liable for the acts, omissions, insolvency, schedule performance, service quality, safety, or regulatory compliance of any Supplier. See Sections 17 and 18.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding contracts to use the Services. Bookings involving minors must be made by an adult who accepts responsibility for them. We do not offer unaccompanied minor bookings on every carrier; where offered, airline fees, age limits, and documentation requirements apply and are quoted separately.

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry or booking at our discretion, including where we cannot verify identity or payment, where a fare has been misquoted, or where a request would breach applicable law or sanctions.

5. Quotes and Pricing

5.1 All-Inclusive Pricing

FareFuzz quotes an all-inclusive total price per passenger, stated in US dollars unless otherwise agreed. That total includes the base fare, all government taxes, airport charges, carrier-imposed surcharges, and our compensation for arranging the ticket. We do not add a separately itemized service fee at checkout — the price your advisor quotes is the price you pay.

Optional extras purchased separately — seat assignments, additional baggage, paid upgrades, lounge passes, or travel insurance — are quoted and charged in addition to the ticket price and are clearly identified before you authorize them.

5.2 Quotes Are Not Guaranteed Until Ticketed

Airfare inventory, fare filings, exchange rates, and taxes change continuously and without notice. A quote is an invitation to book, not a binding offer, and is not guaranteed until the ticket is issued and a ticket number is provided. Unless your advisor states otherwise in writing, quotes are valid only for the period stated and are subject to availability at the moment of ticketing.

If the fare or taxes change before ticketing, we will inform you and you may accept the revised price, request alternatives, or cancel with a full refund of anything paid.

5.3 Pricing Errors

If a fare is displayed or quoted at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical fault, human error, or a Supplier's filing error, we are not obliged to honor it. We will notify you promptly and offer the corrected price or a full refund of any amount collected. This applies whether the error is discovered before or after payment, but only until the ticket is issued.

5.4 Fare Type Restrictions

Consolidator and negotiated net fares frequently carry restrictions that differ from published fares, which may include:

  • Non-refundable or partially refundable conditions
  • Change and cancellation penalties, and no-show forfeiture
  • Restrictions on routing, stopovers, and carrier substitution
  • Advance purchase and minimum/maximum stay requirements
  • Reduced or zero frequent flyer mileage and elite qualifying credit
  • Restrictions on complimentary or paid upgrades, including ineligibility for upgrade instruments
  • Ineligibility for airline-run promotions or status bonuses
  • Priority handling in irregular operations at the carrier's discretion

Your advisor will disclose the material fare rules that apply to your itinerary before you authorize payment. It is your responsibility to review those rules and ask questions before authorizing. Mileage accrual and upgrade eligibility are set solely by the airline and its loyalty program, and are not guaranteed by FareFuzz.

6. Booking Process and Passenger Details

6.1 Name Accuracy

Every traveler's name must be provided exactly as it appears on the passport or government-issued travel document to be used for travel — including middle names where the passport shows them, and without nicknames or abbreviations.

Airlines charge for name corrections and many do not permit them at all after ticketing; in some cases the only remedy is cancellation and repurchase at the fare available at that time. Costs arising from incorrect traveler details you supply or approve are your responsibility.

6.2 Confirmation

You must review your itinerary confirmation immediately on receipt and report any discrepancy in names, dates, routing, times, or cabin within 24 hours. After that period we cannot guarantee that corrections are possible without airline penalties.

6.3 Authorization

By instructing your advisor to proceed — verbally on a recorded line, by email, by chat, or by signing a card authorization form — you authorize FareFuzz to issue the ticket and charge the agreed amount, and you confirm you have reviewed and accepted the applicable fare rules. Telephone calls with our advisors may be recorded (see our Privacy Policy) and such recordings may be used as evidence of authorization.

6.4 Contact Details

You must provide a valid email address and mobile number that will remain reachable through your travel dates. Airlines and FareFuzz use these for schedule changes, cancellations, and irregular operations. We are not liable for consequences arising from unmonitored, incorrect, or out-of-date contact details.

7. Payment

7.1 Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards and, for certain bookings, bank transfer. Cards are processed by PCI DSS–compliant providers, by the airline directly, or through accredited ticketing channels.

7.2 Card Authorization

For some bookings the airline or ticketing partner requires a signed credit card authorization form, a copy of the cardholder's photo identification, and a copy of the card. These requirements come from the Supplier, not from FareFuzz, and tickets cannot be issued without them where they apply.

7.3 Third-Party Cards

If the cardholder is not traveling, additional verification is required and some airlines refuse third-party payment entirely. We may decline a booking on this basis.

7.4 Charges on Your Statement

Depending on how the ticket is issued, charges may appear from the airline, from FareFuzz, or from more than one of these — and a single booking may generate multiple charge lines. Your advisor will explain how your charge will appear. Please check with us before disputing a charge you do not recognize.

7.5 Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback for a validly issued ticket, rather than following the refund process in Section 9, is a breach of these Terms. Where a chargeback is filed for a ticket that was issued as authorized, we reserve the right to contest it with the recording, correspondence, and authorization on file, to cancel the affected booking, to recover our costs, and to decline future business.

7.6 Failed Payment

If a payment is declined, reversed, or fails after ticketing, the booking may be cancelled by the airline without notice and any resulting penalties are your responsibility.

8. Ticketing

Tickets are normally issued within the ticketing time limit set by the airline, which may be as short as a few hours. Your advisor will confirm the deadline applicable to your booking. A reservation is not confirmed travel until a ticket number is issued. If a ticketing deadline passes without payment, the airline may cancel the reservation automatically and the fare may no longer be available.

Electronic tickets are delivered by email. You are responsible for checking spam and junk folders and notifying us if a ticket has not arrived.

9. Voids, Cancellations, and Refunds

9.1 Void Window (Free Cancellation)

Newly issued tickets can often be voided — cancelled with no penalty at all — within a short window after issuance. Where a ticket is voided:

  • We refund the full amount you paid, including our compensation. There is no retained fee on a void.

The window depends on which settlement system issued the ticket:

Issuing system Void window
ARC (tickets issued in the United States)Within 24 hours of issuance, provided departure is at least 7 days away
IATA BSP (tickets issued outside the United States)Same day as issuance, before midnight in the ticket-issuing city

Because premium-cabin net fares are sometimes issued outside the United States, the exact void deadline varies by ticket and will be confirmed to you by your advisor at the time of issuance. Always rely on the deadline your advisor gives you for your specific ticket, not on the general table above.

To void, you must contact us within the stated window and during a period when our team can action it with the airline or ticketing partner. A voluntary void requested after the window closes is not possible; the request is then treated as a cancellation under Section 9.2.

9.2 Cancellation After the Void Window

Once the void window closes, cancellation is governed entirely by the fare rules of the ticket, which may provide for:

  • a full refund;
  • a refund less an airline penalty;
  • an airline credit or future travel voucher rather than cash;
  • refund of taxes and unused government fees only; or
  • no refund at all — many negotiated premium fares are fully non-refundable.

Where a cancellation is processed after the void window, FareFuzz applies a post-ticketing service fee of $250 per passenger in addition to any airline penalty, reflecting the work of processing the refund with the airline and settlement system. This fee is disclosed before you authorize the cancellation and is not charged on voids.

9.3 No-Shows

Failing to travel on a flight without cancelling beforehand ("no-show") typically forfeits the remaining value of the ticket entirely, including onward and return segments, and eliminates any refund or change rights that would otherwise exist. If your plans change, contact us before departure.

9.4 Refund Timelines

Refunds are processed by the airline, not by FareFuzz, and pass through the settlement system before reaching your card. Typical timelines:

  • Voids: funds are usually released back to your card within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank
  • Airline refunds: commonly 8–12 weeks, and longer in periods of disruption or for tickets issued outside the United States

We will submit your refund promptly and follow up with the airline, but we cannot control or guarantee airline refund processing times.

9.5 Partially Used Tickets

Refunds on partially flown tickets are calculated by the airline on the value of unused segments under the fare rules, which frequently produces little or no residual value on discounted premium fares.

9.6 24-Hour Rule

The US Department of Transportation's 24-hour reservation requirement applies to tickets purchased directly from airlines. Tickets purchased through travel agencies and consolidators are not automatically covered. FareFuzz's void policy in Section 9.1 is our voluntary equivalent and, in most cases, provides you with the same practical outcome.

10. Changes to Your Booking

Changes after ticketing are subject to the fare rules, seat availability in the original or an eligible booking class, and any fare difference, which is often substantial on premium cabins. In addition to any airline change penalty and fare difference, FareFuzz applies a change handling fee of $250 per passenger per transaction, disclosed to you before you authorize the change.

Some negotiated fares do not permit changes at all. Requests received close to departure may not be actionable in time; in that case you must contact the airline directly.

11. Travel Documents, Visas, and Health Requirements

You are solely responsible for ensuring that every traveler holds valid documentation for the entire itinerary, including outbound, transit, and return points. This includes:

  • A passport valid for the period required by each country — commonly at least six months beyond your date of entry — with sufficient blank pages
  • All required visas, transit visas, and electronic travel authorizations (ESTA, ETIAS, eTA, and equivalents)
  • Any required health documentation, vaccination certificates, or entry declarations
  • Residency permits or re-entry documentation for non-citizens

Entry requirements change frequently and depend on nationality, residency, and travel history — not just destination. Your advisor may share general guidance as a courtesy, but that guidance is not a substitute for confirming requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government source.

Airlines deny boarding to passengers without correct documentation. Tickets are not refunded, and FareFuzz accepts no liability, where boarding or entry is denied for documentation reasons. Any fines levied on the carrier for transporting an improperly documented passenger may be passed on to you.

12. Schedule Changes, Cancellations, and Irregular Operations

Airlines change schedules, equipment, routings, and cabin configurations routinely, and may cancel flights. FareFuzz does not control these decisions.

When we are notified of a change affecting your booking, we will use reasonable efforts to inform you of the contact details you provided and to assist you in securing an alternative permitted by the airline. Once travel has commenced, or where a change occurs within 24 hours of departure, you should contact the operating airline directly, as only the airline can reaccommodate you in real time at the airport.

Your rights when a flight is delayed or cancelled — including rebooking, refunds, care, and compensation — arise from the airline's contract of carriage and applicable law, such as US DOT rules, EU Regulation 261/2004, or UK261. Those rights are enforceable against the airline, not against FareFuzz. We will assist with submitting claims where we reasonably can, but we do not guarantee outcomes and we are not liable for the airline's decisions or for consequential losses such as missed connections on separate tickets, hotels, tours, or events.

Separate tickets: if your journey involves more than one ticket, the airlines are not obliged to protect connections between them. We will flag this risk when it arises; you accept it if you proceed.

13. Seats, Upgrades, Baggage, and Onboard Product

Seat assignments, specific seat types, bed configurations, cabin product, meal service, lounge access, chauffeur services, and baggage allowances are provided by the airline and may change without notice, including through aircraft substitution. Requests we submit on your behalf — seats, meals, bassinets, mobility assistance — are requests, not guarantees, and are confirmed only by the operating carrier.

Descriptions and images of cabin products on farefuzz.com are illustrative and reflect the airline's typical product on that route; the actual product depends on the aircraft operated on the day.

14. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every booking, purchased at the time of ticketing. Premium-cabin tickets represent significant value and many carry non-refundable conditions. Appropriate cover should include trip cancellation and interruption, medical and evacuation cover, baggage, and supplier insolvency.

If you decline insurance, you accept the financial risk of cancellation, disruption, illness, and loss.

15. Private Aviation and Referral Services

Where you enquire about private aviation, semi-private, or charter travel through farefuzz.com/private-jets or with an advisor, FareFuzz acts solely as a referral source. We are not an air carrier, charter operator, charter broker of record, or indirect air carrier, and we do not own, operate, charter, or control any aircraft.

Such enquiries are referred to independent third-party operators and public charter or scheduled operators. Any resulting contract of carriage is directly between you and that operator, on its terms, at its price, subject to its safety, insurance, cancellation, and liability provisions. We may receive compensation for referrals. FareFuzz makes no representation or warranty regarding any operator's aircraft, crew, certification, insurance, or performance, and disclaims all liability arising from services provided by them.

16. Your Conduct and Our Right to Refuse Service

You agree not to:

  • provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or use a payment method you are not authorized to use;
  • make speculative, duplicate, or fictitious bookings, or bookings you do not intend to honor;
  • use the Services to circumvent airline fare rules through prohibited practices such as hidden-city, back-to-back, or throwaway ticketing — airlines may cancel tickets, invalidate loyalty accounts, and pursue passengers and agencies for such practices, and any resulting loss is your responsibility;
  • scrape, mirror, reverse engineer, or place automated load on farefuzz.com;
  • abuse, threaten, or harass our advisors; or
  • use the Services in breach of applicable law, export controls, or economic sanctions.

We may suspend, cancel, or decline service for any of the above, and may retain funds only to the extent needed to cover Supplier penalties actually incurred.

17. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ON FAREFUZZ.COM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that fares displayed are available, or that route, schedule, cabin, and destination information is complete or current. Route and deal pages are illustrative of typical availability and pricing, not offers.

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Suppliers, including cancellation, delay, overbooking, downgrade, denied boarding, insolvency, loss or damage to baggage, injury, illness, or property damage arising from services they provide.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • FareFuzz's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or any booking — whether in contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total amount you paid to FareFuzz for the booking giving rise to the claim.
  • FareFuzz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunity, missed events or connections, alternative transport or accommodation costs, or loss of enjoyment, even if advised of the possibility.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case the above applies to the fullest extent permitted there.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FareFuzz, its officers, directors, employees, and advisors from any claim, loss, liability, penalty, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these Terms; inaccurate traveler information you supplied or approved; your failure to hold valid travel documents; your conduct toward a Supplier; or your misuse of the Services.

20. Force Majeure

FareFuzz is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or industrial action, airspace or airport closure, airline or supplier insolvency, government action, sanctions, cyberattack, or failure of telecommunications, payment, or distribution systems.

21. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL.

21.1 Talk to Us First

Most issues can be resolved directly. Before commencing formal proceedings, please send a written description of your claim to [email protected] or the address in Section 26. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the matter within 60 days.

21.2 Binding Arbitration

If the dispute is not resolved, you and FareFuzz agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. Arbitration will take place in Alameda County, California, or, at your election, by telephone, videoconference, or documents-only where the rules permit. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision.

21.3 Class Action Waiver

You and FareFuzz agree that each may bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim shall proceed in court and the remainder of this Section 21 continues to apply.

21.4 Your Right to Opt Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, the email address used with FareFuzz, and a clear statement that you decline arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms and will not affect your service in any way.

21.5 Exceptions

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

21.6 Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Where a claim proceeds in court notwithstanding Section 21.2, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Alameda County, California.

21.7 Time Limit

Any claim must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it, or it is permanently barred, except where a longer period is required by law.

21.8 Aviation Complaints

Complaints about an airline's own conduct may also be filed with the airline directly and, for US-touching itineraries, with the US Department of Transportation. Nothing here limits statutory rights you hold against a carrier.

22. Intellectual Property

The FareFuzz name, logo, wordmark, brand palette, site design, photography, video, route guides, editorial content, and code are owned by FareFuzz or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your use of the Services grants you no rights in them.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, frame, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of farefuzz.com without our prior written permission, except for the personal, non-commercial use of your own itinerary documents.

Third-party marks, including airline names and logos, are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Their use does not imply endorsement of FareFuzz by, or partnership with, those owners beyond the commercial arrangements we actually hold.

23. Reviews, Testimonials, and User Content

If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, or other content to us or on a platform where we appear, you grant FareFuzz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display it in our marketing, with attribution limited to a first name and last initial unless you agree otherwise. You confirm the content is your own, truthful, and does not infringe anyone's rights. We do not offer or provide compensation in exchange for positive reviews.

24. Communications and Consent

By providing your contact details you consent to receive service and transactional communications about your enquiry and booking by email, phone, SMS, and WhatsApp. These are not marketing messages and cannot be opted out of while a booking is live.

By separately opting in, you consent to receive marketing communications including fare alerts and promotions. You may withdraw that consent at any time via the unsubscribe link, by replying STOP, or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.

Calls to and from FareFuzz may be monitored and recorded for quality, training, and verification purposes, with notice at the start of the call. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how we handle your information.

25. General

Changes to these Terms. We may amend these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new "Last Updated" date. Changes apply prospectively. The Terms in force at the time you confirm a booking govern that booking, and later amendments do not alter it.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written confirmation issued for your booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and FareFuzz regarding the Services, and supersede prior discussions. Where a written booking confirmation and these Terms conflict on a booking-specific point, the confirmation prevails for that booking.

Supplier terms prevail on carriage. Nothing in these Terms overrides an airline's contract of carriage or fare rules as they apply between you and that airline.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stays in force.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No third-party beneficiaries, except that Suppliers may rely on Sections 3, 17, and 18 as they relate to them.

Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience and the English version controls.

Accessibility. We are committed to serving travelers with disabilities. Contact us if you need assistance using the Services in an alternative format, and tell your advisor as early as possible about any assistance required for travel so it can be requested with the airline.
